Stage and Screen
As composer, arranger and musical director, Daniel can often be found lurking in the unsavoury world of the theatre.
At present, he works as musical director for the ground-breaking, and wonderfully notorious Actors' Workshop Youth Theatre, Halifax, where his shows have included A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum, City of Angels and Roberta, as well as numerous ribaldry-riddled cabaret shows. He has also composed incidental music for plays, including Romeo and Juliet and A Midsummer Night's Dream.

June 2005 in the Actors' Workshop also saw the first fully-staged production of Daniel's arrangement for young voices and reduced orchestra of Henry Purcell's opera, Dido and Aeneas directed by the fabulous Mike Ward. (if you would like to perform this version of Dido and Aeneas, please contact us.
Here are some of Daniel's other works for stage and screen
